As many people will agree, the definition of “health” is not just the absence of disease. While there are many contributing factors to good health, your feng shui environment influences your health on levels that are hardly ever obvious, but still quite potent.
There are factors that go into a classical Feng Shui evaluation which relate directly or indirectly to health matters. The immediate outside environment is involved as well the the qi flow inside a space, be it home or work. There are even personal aspects to an evaluation; what may engender good health for one person may be draining for another person, based on such factors as the person’s birth date.
Feng Shui can address issues of digestive health, the endocrine or immune system, reproductive health, dental, skeletal and the muscular systems of the body. Psychological health issues can also be addressed and these are items which are most accurately determined using the Flying Star School, also called Xuan Kong Fei Xing. Form School can also identify outside environmental causes, as well as interior qi flow circumstances, which relate to your body and mind. To give a specific example, if a person sleeps under large exposed beams, there could be a health issue directly related to the part of the body that is under the beam all night. Houses also go through cycles, either annual or long term, where the general well-being of the occupants may be compromised for a specific period of time.
No matter what your age, from infants and children and all the way to seniors and everyone in between, health matters can be directly related to a house’s year of construction, as well as the areas that a person spends most of their time in. One of the areas of most importance is the bedroom, since most of us spend about 1/3 of our life sleeping in a certain spot in our home.
If you have a nagging health issue or ailment which has not resolved through any other means, you should have a Feng Shui assessment to either confirm or rule out any correlation. The cost of my consultation could be less than the fee for an office visit and battery of tests from a doctor, so you owe it to yourself to check out the potential Feng Shui factor.
