In the paragraphs to follow, I have provided an excerpt from one of my case study lesson plans. This case study #26 focuses on how Feng Shui determines if a house (or business) is vulnerable to attracting legal problems for the occupants.

Additionally, the case study provides recommendations for reducing legal problems. Many people have no idea that feng shui can be that specific and predictive; it is the Flying Star School which reveals these non-obvious tendencies. This case study, like so many others, was created for those who are already familiar with the flying star school and how to create a chart. Case Studies that are available to the public are on my website under Books and Products.

There are many types of legal problems which do not graduate to the full blown lawsuits, standing before a judge and jury.  In the times we live in, there can be legal or contractual disputes at just about every turn.  It is important to list some of them because if you consult at all, you will see so many variations of the legal issues and you would want to correctly identify it if related to Feng Shui.

Anything involved with someone’s home could arouse legal or contractual misunderstandings.  This includes rental agreements, landlord disputes, neighbor disputes, real estate transactions, banks, real estate agents and all those involved in the process.  Doing a home repair or remodeling project is a legal contract which involves expectations and guarantees, all needing to be signed for.

Even receiving or sending packages or letters is a minor legal procedure.  Having one’s mail stolen is the beginning of Identity theft or fraud.

Many people lease or own cars and just walking into a car dealership could make someone prime for the Robbery Star combination to manifest (by being taken advantage of in a high pressure sale). Traffic tickets also count as a modern example of a legal situation.

When it comes to the work force, legal issues can abound between employer and employee, between employees, between vendors and customers, patients or clients. Labor strikes, unions, sexual harassment, and all contracts involved in the work field can become legal nightmares.

We live in a litigious world and even using the Internet mandates legal procedures, use of certain browsers and signing away our legal rights for the use social media sites or other apps.

Every time we do any kind of business with someone, whether it is dining at a restaurant (where we can be removed from the premises) to getting our hair cut, involves spoken and unspoken agreements.  And when something goes wrong which cannot be handled amicably, we may then enter into a law suit or deal with a collection agency, etc.

I’m listing all of the above because it has been very common for me to review a house where the occupants could easily experience legal problems, but when I ask them if they do, they might initially say no.  Why?  Because for many people, the words “legal problems” immediately conjures up images of being sued or suing someone and having a court date or mediation date to deal with.

Most people understand that being audited by the Internal Revenue Service is a legal issue, as are traffic violations or anything that has caused an arrest or restraining order.  We all understand that divorce proceedings and custody battles are legal issues.  But some people don’t realize that an erroneous charge on their credit card statement is a legal issue or that a problem with one’s insurance company or immigration status could also be generated by the same Feng Shui scenario.  Inheritance disputes are common legal entanglements.  Being the victim of plagiarism and copyright infringement and trademark violations is certainly a legal issue.”

A bonus inclusion in the Legal Issues Case Study ends with a section on how a feng shui practitioner can organize their process if asked to evaluate, or even help in the design phase of, a gambling casino.   Why did I add this to the case study?  Aside from it just being an interesting application of Feng Shui, there is also a relationship between the energies which can cause legal problems, theft, and financial loss through deception, with the energies that can make a patron of a gambling establishment vulnerable to losing money.  There is a saying, “The House always wins,” and when working for the casino developer or owner, the Feng Shui consultant is expected to help them be successful at the expense of the gamblers, whether stated explicitly or not.

What types of people and businesses a Feng Shui consultant is willing to work for is another topic entirely.  Sty tuned!
