If you truly want to be considered professional and follow the laws of your own city, state or country, you should consider holding a general business license to cover ordinary liabilities. There is no such thing as a “Feng Shui License” so you don’t need to be concerned about that. My business license has never been challenged and it states broadly that I advise people regarding their home and work spaces and make design, décor and landscaping recommendations.
Certification within the Feng Shui Industry does not assure a universal standard of training since there are so many branches and philosophies surrounding this subject. However, certain teachers and schools have garnered their own reputations. If you are certified by a highly respected School or Teacher, then your Certification will have meaning.
