Most people love predictions, even those who do not follow the metaphysical Predictive Arts. This refers to those who follow political or economic experts, or even those who get excited about who may win a Grammy or an Academy Award.
When it comes to my study of Nine Star Ki, an ancient metaphysical practice of both Chinese and Japanese origins, I can’t resist looking into the crystal ball and see what I can glean from the birth data of certain public figures. I will keep it general to their Year of Birth only.
The United States has an election year in 2024 and as we know from the past, the winner usually squeaks in by a narrow margin. Back in 2020, numerous astrologers reminded us about the “Zero Year Curse,” or “Tecumseh’s Curse” where Americans have had seven U.S. Presidents who did not complete their term, noting they were elected in a year ending in a zero or divisible by 20, such as 1860 with Lincoln or 1960 with John F. Kennedy.
Seven past presidents elected in a “0” year have either been assassinated, died from a medical condition while in office, or resigned. It’s a trend that has only been broken a few times in nearly two centuries. There was speculation in the astrology world back in 2020 that Biden would not complete his term. Heading toward the upcoming election year, any number of things looming could result in him not remaining President until January 20, 2025. In fact, some astrologers predicted he would win in 2020, partly because of his age, and the not far-fetched possibility of his dying in office, fulfilling the Zero Year Curse.
Trump: At the end of 2023, Trump leads in most polls. But what lies beneath the surface? Trump was born in the year of the Dog and in 2024, a Dragon Year, that is considered his “Opposition” year. Born in 1946, Trump is a 9 Fire Star person in Nine Star Ki. The 9 Fire Star will be situated in the Southwest House for 2024. This Southwest House (not a literal house) is regarded as a place for planning, strategizing and being more in the background. That does not sound like a typical campaign year when a candidate needs to be in the public eye. Although, planning for the future and getting one’s ducks in order could be a background strategy. What is more troubling for Trump is that his 9 Fire Star is directly opposite the 6 Metal star in the Northeast House for 2024. The 6 star relates to government, politics, the judicial system, the law and power. He is in opposition to that energy which does not bode well for him. At the very least, it can imply a struggle in those areas, which is already playing out.
Biden: Biden is a 4 Wood Star person in Nine Star Ki, born in 1942. When we look at the Nine Star Ki Year Chart for 2024, we see that the 4 star is sitting in the Northwest House. This Northwest House is related to the 6 Metal Star. That is the home base for the 6 Metal Star, compared to its annual position in the Northeast House as I described it for Trump in 2024. However, the 4 Star person’s home base is Southeast. When we see any 4 Star person, like Biden, in the Northwest House, it can be a very stressful time. That person is positioned polar opposite to their home base.
We have a term in Nine Star Ki called the “Reversed Luo Shu Axis,” a very apt term coined by my Nine Star Ki mentor Heluo Hill. As the phrase implies, things are the “reverse” of what they should be. For Biden, his 4 Wood star is sitting in the 6 Metal House, which should be a place for accolades, achievement and political power, but it’s frankly his worst position.
Opposite his 4 Star in the Northwest is the 2 star in the Southeast House. The 2 star represents many diverse things in Nine Star Ki, to include a large group of people with a common identity. So, we could see Biden at odds with voters or many Americans. In fact, a 2 star can pair with a 6 or 8 star in any given month and predict rioting or protesting. As well, the 2 star can symbolize a hospital or medical setting. Dealing with health issues will become more pronounced for him in 2024.
Robert Kennedy, Jr.: Bobby Kennedy was born on January 17, 1954, so we consider that 1953 according to the Nine Star Ki calendar which starts @ February 4th each year. As a person we consider born in 1953, he is the 2 Earth Star. In Feng Shui we call that the Kun trigram. We see for 2024 that the 2 Star is positioned in the Southeast House. As mentioned in regards to Biden, we pay attention to stars that are either paired up with each other or directly opposite each other. This is when the pole magnetism pushes events and circumstances into manifesting. We could look at the two men personally and certainly see where RFK Jr (2) is opposing Biden (4) in their respective positions on the Luo Shu Chart for 2024.
The Southeast House is normally considered a placement related to getting things done, completing projects and having the energy of late spring. It’s a type of “rising” yang energy as opposed to a more “yin” retreat mode. That should bode well for a candidate in a campaign year. However, not all is smooth sailing because the 2 star candidate is opposite a 4 star when it is on a Reversed Luo Shu axis. This is on par with getting challenged by or swept up in other people’s problems. RFK Jr is also directly opposite the NW House (6 Star energy), so getting elected to such a seat of power can be a struggle for him as well. And the frosting on the cake is that he is opposite a 4 star which also symbolizes documents and things related to paper, including voting ballots. RFK Jr. may have a struggle getting on all the states’ ballots.
At this point, we see that at the end of 2023, the three major candidates set to run in 2024 will all have forces working against them. At the end of 2023, most people assume Trump will at least be the Republican candidate, but that Biden may not be the Democrat candidate into 2024. This is where we can take a peak at a couple of other birth dates.
Michelle Obama: This is one of those far-fetched fantasies that some people have, in the same way that people once wondered if the popular Oprah Winfrey would ever run for President. The difference between these two is that Michelle was First Lady and Americans would either love or hate the prospect of her channeling her husband as third term Barack. Does she have Nine Star Ki working in her favor in 2024? Michelle was born January 17th (like Bobby Kennedy), in 1964. So we have to consider her born in 1963 for Nine Star Ki purposes. This makes Michelle a 1 Water Star person.
***For those reading this article who are familiar with the Personal Trigram (Ba Zhai) system in Feng Shui, the Nine Star Ki star for someone’s birth year is the same star/trigram. However, there is no distinction between males and females born in the same year. All take the same “male” trigram in the same way that anyone born in 2024 is a Dragon, whether male or female.
In 2024, the 1 Water Star is in the East House. This position is associated with early spring and it can boost someone’s energy, like flowers blooming in spring after the dormancy of winter. Trump’s 9 star was in the East House in campaign year 2016, as a comparison. However, that year his own star was not opposite the 5 star. That is the case for 1 Water Star people in 2024. Their own star has a lot of personal momentum in the East House, but it is squared off with the 5 Earth Star in the West House. The 5 star can be symbolic of a politician, government buildings, a ruler or king. But it is also related to weird events, unexpected critical events or disasters. Not indicating a home run for Michelle either.
Gavin Newsom: Born in 1967, this man’s personal year star is the 6 Metal star. It is no wonder he walks and talks with an air of entitlement and believes he could be a U.S. President, already a governor for 40 million Californians. 6 Metal star people are born leaders. Being in power comes naturally to them. His own 6 Metal star is in the Northeast House for 2024. The energy of the Northeast House can sometimes be described as a volcano which appears still on the outside, but with a lot brewing inside. When a person resides in the Northeast House, they might make rash or radical decisions or surprise people around them.
His 6 Metal star in the Northeast House is directly opposite the 9 star in the Southwest House. Does that mean he will directly oppose Trump, a 9 star person? There are many layers to Nine Star Ki, and beyond personal relationships, the 9 star is also associated with revelations, secrets revealed, sometimes embarrassing situations. Newsom, like anyone in public office, could be exposed for wrong-doing or perceived wrong-doing any day of the week. Damage Control on high alert for all of the candidates and who they choose to associate with.
Kamala Harris: Born in 1964, Harris is a 9 Fire Star person. She is in the same cycle as Trump in terms of being opposite the 6 Metal Star in the Northeast House and planted in the Southwest House. She was born in the Year of the Dragon, and in this particular Dragon Year of 2024 she turns 60 years of age. This is a big cycle of completion, a return to her year of birth in a Yang Wood Dragon year. That is better than being in your Opposition year, but it is not clear to me if she will run for President. Presumably, she is on the ticket as Vice-President.
As we get closer to Election Day, I might take a stab at looking at the prospects for the candidates in the month and day of the Election. With Election Day being November 5th, that is actually still part of OCTOBER’S monthly cycle because November energy does not start until November 8th. Of course, we could also have a situation, as in years past, where we did not know who the winner is even late into the evening on Election Day! If that happened, we would look at the November monthly cycle for more clues.
