What is a GTPC Report?
GTPC stands for Guidelines for Timing of Property Changes. This is a special service now available from Feng Shui Solutions for all homeowners who would like to have a perpetual reference for the best years to remodel, landscape or do any non-emergency renovations or repairs. Said differently, you can know in advance which specific directions to avoid in any given year. The GTPC Report can also apply to commercial properties.
How does it work?
You can receive a personalized gridding of your floor plan, showing all the Chinese Zodiac sign locations throughout your home and how those same directional zones fan out to the outer reaches of your property line. For any given year, you will know well in advance the areas to avoid doing any significant demolition or digging. The Chinese Zodiac signs are not just related to yearly cycles, but also directions! Spanning the twelve Zodiac signs and the directions they are associated with can provide you with a perpetual guideline to track those years and locations for decades to come.
Not a good year to remodel a certain part of the house?
Maybe it will be a good year to remodel another part of the house instead. The home I owned in Los Angeles for nearly twenty years had about a dozen renovation projects. Because I practice what I preach, I scheduled them in good timing based on each location involved. My projects ran smoothly each time, sometimes even finishing ahead of schedule.
What if your renovation, remodeling or landscaping project will span through more than one area, both good and bad directions? Or you can’t postpone it?
This is where I can further guide you in selecting the best months and start dates to compensate. (Feng Shui monthly and daily cycles do NOT repeat on the same schedule as the Yearly cycles, so these time frames will need to be determined separately.) There can also be creative ways to begin a demolition in a good area and work your way over to the vulnerable area. Other Feng Shui techniques can also be used to protect occupants when there is no way to avoid bad timing. The ideal, however, is to “go with the flow” instead of against it, whenever possible. That is one of the goals for you with the GTPC Report.
Why is the timing so important?
Each direction is associated with a family member, body areas and other attributes. When a demolition or digging project is done in poor timing, often called “Construction Sha,” it can affect the health and well-being of household members, temporarily or even sometimes long term. Occupants can become accident-prone during a poorly timed project, as well as the on-site workers at risk for injury.
When can I get the GTPC Report?
You can order a GTPC report at any time; it does not have to coincide with my Annual Update season, which normally goes from October through February.
How much does the GTPC Report cost?
There is a flat rate of $168.00 US dollars for any home or business with one eight-directional grid overlay on the whole floor plan. For properties which have more than one grid (such as with some existing additions) or more than one structure on the land, additional charges will apply and can be discussed before ordering. Remember, this tracking guide repeats every twelve years, so it is a one-time order for each property!
Do I need to have had a Feng Shui reading with Kartar Diamond before I can get the GTPC Report?
You don’t need to have been a regular client for this separate service. If we have worked together before on the same property, I already have your floor plan. If we have not yet done an initial Feng Shui evaluation, you can still get the GTPC report. I just need an accurate, to-scale floor plan to work with.
Like the other Feng Shui services Kartar offers, the GTPC report can be done remotely for anyone around the globe. We just need to confirm the accurate compass reading with our remote tools.
Prices range between $168-$368 depending on how many grids you will need for your property. The report comes with easy-to-understand explanations, reference charts and calendars. I will also be available to answer any questions you may have or provide extra techniques when they apply to your situation.
