Classical Xuan Kong Feng Shui can be very accurate as a predictive art. When we factor in the time of construction and the magnetic compass reading of the property, unseen influences can be revealed and this includes events or circumstances which an occupant may encounter.

For example, there is a certain type of energy that can exist in someone’s house which would predict a surgery. The flying star school then offers one or more remedies to avert this potential.  It could involve an element remedy for the room in question and/or using the room less so that you simply won’t be as influenced by it.  Then, the third trick for being able to bypass a critical surgery would be to actually schedule an elective surgery in order to satisfy this nearly inevitable circumstance. Instead of having an emergency, how about having a mole removed to upstage something unexpected and more serious?

Another serious circumstance occurs when a house’s Feng Shui indicates that a person could become a widow or widower in a certain year.  What to do to prevent this? Aside from a traditional remedy, as with an element added to the room, you could have a relative or friend who is already a widow or widower come stay with you for that year. This way, the house has received a widow or widower without you having to become one.

Sound odd? Well, these are some of the secrets shared with me by one of the most respected and sought after Feng Shui masters on the planet, who advises officials in the governments of China and Taiwan and taken dead seriously.

With training and experience there are a number of ways to turn lemons into lemonade.  I have seen this happen hundreds of times with clients, where a circumstance that could be detrimental for one person could actually be beneficial for someone else. This can have something to do with a person’s age, gender, occupation, marital status or other features to their personal astrology.

Early on in my Feng Shui studies, I once went to a residence with my teacher to evaluate the home of a woman who we later found out was the author of many successful “romance” novels.  Before we entered the home, we noticed a pool of stagnant, dirty water near her entrance. We questioned her about this muddy water and she mentioned that the dirty water was there frequently because her canyon home was below street level and water from her sprinkler system often ran to this one low point at the end of the driveway.  Normally, dirty water is a bad sign. It can portend much sickness or even criminal activity.

My teacher chuckled quietly at the irony of how her entrance was so good for writers. This was based on when her house was built and the location of her entrance. At this type of entrance there exists a type of “wood” energy that is stimulated by water (like watering a plant). The pooling of the dirty water at her entrance helped her as an author of dirty sex novels. This is actually a rather G-rated translation of what one could encounter with this circumstance, but this is just one true example of how some people naturally dodge a bullet based on what they do for a living and how we can sometimes turn a negative into a positive, all in context, or circumvent something upsetting that could happen.
